Paolo Perret was born in Aosta, Italy, in 1989. Currently executive Ph.D. student in Electronics, Computer Science And Electrical Engineering at the University of Pavia in cooperation with Fondazione Montagna Sicura, specializes in microwave techniques for cryosphere monitoring at the Microwave Laboratory. With a background in Natural Sciences from the University of Turin, he deepened his expertise in glaciology, advanced remote sensing and data analysis through his role at Fondazione Montagna Sicura. His research is focused on enhancing radar systems and remote sensing technologies for a comprehensive monitoring of cryosphere, glacier dynamics and periglacial processes.
